It\u2019s a 15-day\nlong festival where people gathered to\nsee the culture of pre-Islamic and buy handicraft goods as well.<\/li><li><strong>Janadriyah National Festival<\/strong>: this is one of the most famous festivals in Saudi\nArabia. Set in February for two weeks,\nits show the true heritage of Saudi and its past. Horse races and camel races\nare among the notable spectacles and the\npoets from all around the countries gathered to recite their poems are not to be\nmissed.<\/li><li><strong>Milad al-Nabi<\/strong>: it\u2019s celebrated as the birthday of prophet\nMahmood and one of the biggest festivals\nas well. People from all around the county gathered\nto remember the journey and life lesson of prophet\nMohamad. The\nstreet is covered with feast and celebration.<\/li><li><strong>Kingdom Day<\/strong>: also known as the unification of\nkingdom day is celebrated as the founding\nof Saudi Arabia back in 1932 on 23 September. People are singing songs and waving flags all around the place to express\ntheir love for their country.<\/li><li><strong>AL Hareed\nFestival<\/strong>: hundreds of fishermen,\nrushing to the red sea with their net to catch parrot fish which is known as hareed in Saudi Arabia\nis something you don\u2019t want to miss. Parrotfish\nis considered as a delicacy in Saudi Arabia and in the month of April\nand May when fish arrived in the shallow water of the red sea, fishermen gathered and run to the water to catch them.<\/li><li><strong>East Coast Festival<\/strong>: this festival is celebrated for the ancient\ntrade of Perl and fishing as Saudi Arabia\nhas a long history of naval heritage.\nThis festival held at King Abdullah Park on\nthe waterfront of Dammam, Eastern Province.<\/li><li><strong>Camel Beauty Contest<\/strong>: this is one of the most amazing festivals which attracts\nthousands of tourist all around the\nworld. If you consider camel as an ugly animal, then you must visit this.
