AML Policy

AML policy strictly applies to GCCRemit. GCCRemit system reflects complete KYC details of customers and has a procedure of issuing GCCRemit Card by taking onetime valid documents.

GCCREMIT card discloses the complete history of transaction of customers and enables the agents to raise Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) as and when required. Appointment of agents is documented after obtaining clearance from our Compliance Division.

GCCREMIT Compliance division scrutinises the valid documents, initiate enquiries about the Agents, reviews the credibility and Compliance procedures of the agents before according any clearance.

Agents appearing in the black list shall not be registered as authorised agents with GCC Remit.

Fraud Prevention

Beware of Online Frauds

GCCRemit is a SAFE way to remit money to your loved ones or people you know and trust. Do not send money to strangers and know your beneficiary’s activities thoroughly and then decide to send.

GCC REMIT cares for its customers and urges you to protect yourself from fraud by considering the following:

  • Convey the GCCN code number to the Receiver in a secured mode
  • Never share your GCCN code number in public or social websites
  • Beware of deals or opportunities that seem too good to be true.
  • Don’t use money transfer services to pay for things like online auction purchases.
  • Never send money to pay for taxes or fees on foreign lottery winnings

Protect Yourself

Using us to send money online is fast, convenient, and reliable. As with any online service, a few simple steps can help protect you:

  • Never share your password with anyone.
  • If yourealize someone may have your password, change it immediately.
  • Make sure your password is unique and hard to guess.
  • Use a password that includes both letters and numbers.
  • Never use your email address as your password.
  • Don’t use the same password that you use for any other online service.
